Reeve has purchased the assets of
both Clemco-Elite Standard Systems
and Garcy Stud. These two product
lines join Reeve’s existing recessed
“T” standard and wall standard
offerings. All machinery, inventory,
and tooling for Clemco-Elite and
Garcy Stud is now located at Reeve’s
Imagine! Print Solutions has
acquired Midnight Oil Agency,
pending customary closing conditions. The transaction is expected
to close in the third quarter of 2016.
S. Walter Packaging acquired
Packaging Specialties. This acquisition will expand S. Walter’s geographic presence in the Pacific
Northwest, coupled with an increasing ability to service customers on a
national basis. Packaging Specialties
will now be known as Packaging
Specialties by S. Walter.
Shannon Specialty Floors is
expanding its current marketing alli-
ance with Spartan Surfaces, which
welcomed Shannon products in Illi-
nois, including the greater Chicago
area, last November. The group will
now also market Shannon products
in Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi,
Tennessee, South Florida, Georgia,
South Carolina, North Carolina,
Virginia, Maryland, Delaware,
New York, Connecticut, New Jersey,
Eastern Pennsylvania, and Illinois.
GPA expanded its operational footprint with the addition of a new
Texas regional headquarters. This
new sales and service facility will
allow GPA to provide its customers
in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and

opened a new office in Brighton,
U.K. The office will focus exclusively
on providing sales, technical, and
customer support for customers
across the United Kingdom and
Ireland. Global Shop Solutions’
consultant Michelle Brown has
been selected to oversee the office.
Brown has seven years of experience in manufacturing and 14 years
in the IT-service industry.

Shaw Industries Group
broke ground on a three-story,
67,000-sq.-ft. Create Centre in
Cartersville, Ga. Scheduled for
completion in late 2017, the $24
million facility will house the commercial division’s marketing, design,
and innovation associates, which
includes Shaw Contract’s marketing and product design teams.
Designed by Gensler, the Create
Centre is expected to be USGBC
LEED-certified and will feature
ample daylight and open collaborative spaces.

ICX Association Elevate Awards

Responsibility (CSR) category of the GS1 US Apparel and General
Merchandising Awards. The CSR award recognizes companies
that have leveraged their implementation of GS1 standards to
pursue sustainability or humanitarian initiatives that demonstrate
responsibility to the environment, society, or people groups.
Mainetti, a provider of hangers, display solutions, and other
products, employs 5,000 workers in 49 countries. Charitable
activities have included the Mary K. Foundation MK5K; a summer food drive; the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk;
cleaning a local cemetery; monthly visits to a local orphanage
