;ere will be 10. 4 billion people living on planet Earth by 2075—3 billion
more than when A.R.E. celebrated its ;rst 60 years. ;is staggering growth
not only will create many more potential customers, but will launch what by
2025 will become known as “MyRetailReality.” In this age, technology and
the supply chain infrastructure will allow “customer tribes” to create customized retail stores—experiences that are no longer limited to the mass
approach, but embody tribal norms and natural cycles.
From that point forward, the population will continue fracturing into
tighter classi;cations. ;is will spawn new communal living populations
that de;ne a new urban movement. Mega cities will be built around sustainability and local sourcing.
By 2030, arti;cial intelligence will become a standard part of our lives.
Everything will have built-in data monitoring. Our day-to-day tasks will
be automated, allowing us to spend three hours a day not driving, but making products, framing, and life coaching as we will live to 100 and have ;ve
careers in a normal lifetime.
Life will evolve at a faster pace, yet society will still be anchored to the
power of community and like-mindedness.
