Need inspiration for poses for a line
of active mannequins? Try The Art
Of Richard MacDonald outside the “O”
Theatre lobby in the Bellagio. Presented
by Cirque du Soleil, this exhibit features
neo-figurative bronze sculptures portraying the movement of the entertainment company’s acrobats, dancers, and
contortionists. If you can’t make it over
to the Bellagio, another MacDonald
display can be found at Gallery Row,
just across the bridge outside of
Crystals at CityCenter.
Before designing your next kiosk,
store fixture, or P-O-P display, test
your industrial problem-solving skills
by releasing your inner child at the
Discovery Children’s Museum downtown. See if you can create something
from materials at hand that can withstand a 14-ft. drop or a sudden blast of
air at the Patents Pending exhibit. Get
ideas for educating shoppers in engaging ways from the Animal Grossology
exhibit, there through April 17.
You can easily get your

from GlobalShop, March 23–25
in Las Vegas. But save room
for more after the show ends.
