A truly artistic centerpiece, the watch wave
fixture at Nixon pays homage to the coastal
California brand’s surfing heritage. This
stunning sculptural display forms part of
the new design language for the store while
Ignoring traditional watch display norms,
the concept takes the watches from behind
glass, removing all barriers to encourage
customers to examine the product. This
groundbreaking watch display optimizes
the presentation of the product.
Art imitates life, as watches from the latest collection are displayed rhythmically
on undulating pure white plinths, partly
immersed below the surface of an underlit aqua-blue tank. The product visually
punches through the glass top, imparting
the appearance of floating on the surface.
The risers are arranged in a way that reflects
the rhythm of energy moving through the
water in a wave pattern.
