Creating a look consistent with the retailer’s full-price stores, this outlet features a similar design with
economical materials such as laminate rather than
high-end woods. A custom seating area and clearly
defined product zones convey a welcoming environment. Open-sell fixtures make merchandise easily accessible. Visuals, differing in height and depth,
include large lit graphic panels and a dozen TV monitors conveying seasonal stories. A large wall covered
with product tins targets devoted fans, who collect
the popular packaging.

Each department in this 300,000-sq.-ft. store has its own image and
tells its own story, offering a variety of shopping experiences under
one—extremely stylized—roof that sets the stage for the organic,
inventive interior. Imaginative ceiling, flooring, and fixturing treatments are combined with more than 20 digital screens that provide
constantly changing information. Marble, steel, and other high-end
materials add luxurious touches. In the atrium, the retailerś 125-year
history is celebrated in a museum-style gallery.
