All sales and operations of Arauco,
parent company of Flakeboard,
in the U. S. and Canada are now
combined under one organization
that will operate as Arauco North
America. Kelly Shotbolt will be
president of Arauco North America. Francisco Figueroa, who has
served as the president since 2009,
has been appointed to a senior management commercial role in Chile.
Lavi Industries, a provider of
queue management and customer
flow solutions, has acquired a 50%
share of Qmetrix through its German affiliate, Via Guide GmbH.
Qmetrix develops technology solutions that measure, monitor, and
manage waiting lines and other
areas where people move through
or congregate. Lavi Industries will
handle sales and marketing for the
new partnership, serving as sole
worldwide distributor, delegating
the European market to Via Guide.
DVUV has unveiled a new logo for
its UV-cured powder coating for
wood business. The logo strengthens
its brand strategy
the company’s signature sample shape with the tag-line “Wood Powder Coating.” The
blue and purple colors symbolize
the UV curing used in DVUV’s wood
idX Corp. has moved its idX Dayton
division to a larger facility. At more
than 450,000 sq. ft., the new facility
doubles the division’s space and consolidates it under one roof. The plant
is located at 2875 Needmore Road.
IFS Coatings unveiled a new
plant in Ardmore, Okla. Designed
to accommodate lean, the facility
will produce high-volume, functional powder-coating finishes.
It supplements the existing IFS
plant in Gainesville, Texas.
LED products provider DLC has a
new office in Paramus, N. J., to focus
on the New England/ Tri-State area.

T.C. Millwork is opening a show-
room in New York City in partner-
ship with Global Visual Group. The
showroom will be located at 152 W.
Vulcan Industries has added a $5.1
million, 100,000-sq.-ft. warehouse.
The new space will have inventory
tracking using bar-code scanning as
well as a narrow aisle design to maximize the space and meet customer
needs for large-pallet displays and
small-case pick items.
TRIAD has launched TRIAD Too,
a new division dedicated to smaller
projects that have not been a good
fit for the company in the past given
its large-scale production capabilities. TRIAD Too operates out of the

Architectural Systems‘ Cast Stone
Dimensional Panels garnered two
awards in the 18th Annual IIDA/
HD Product Design Competition in
the hospitality industry. The sustainable panels, made from 90%
recycled quarried stone, won the
Eric Engstrom Best of Competition
Award and the Award of Excellence
for Applied Finishes and Materials –
Wall Coverings and Treatment.
DCI-Artform has received a gold
award from POPAI for its L’Oréal
Paris Sparkle display. DCI-Artform
was awarded gold in the Beauty and
Make-up Tester category for hyper
and supermarket formats from
more than 350 entries in 42 categories overall.

Visual Magnetics has received a
U. S. Utility Patent for the InvisiLock
system, an integral part of the Visual
Magnetics graphics system. The
InvisiLock system allows the placement of dimensional objects on a
wall with graphics without using
adhesive, nails, or screws.

interior contract for the top floors
of the World Trade Observatory.

Infinity Retail Services was recognized by the Polk County Economic
Development Corp. in Wisconsin with the 2014 Energy Efficiency Award
for its contributions to economic and community development in Polk
County. In addition, State Sen. Shelia Harsdorf presented a Citation
by the Legislature on behalf of the Polk County Legislators. Village of
Turtle Lake Trustee Ken Mendley presented a resolution adopted by the
