Attendees can kick-start their final day at GlobalShop 2013 with the new Brand
Breakfast, which will feature an all-star panel of brand and CPG executives discussing
the issues at the forefront of the industry. There will be opportunity for Q&A during
the moderated panel, over coffee and breakfast.
A new networking opportunity at GlobalShop 2013, the Power Lunch offers participants an opportunity to mingle with a diverse group of peers over lunch, make new
acquaintances, and learn about emerging consumer trends from Todd Hale, Nielsen’s
senior vice president of consumer and shopper insights.

This session for students will cover design
and merchandising trends, along with case
studies of current award-winning projects.
The case study discussions will provide a dose
of reality for students, demonstrating how
companies go about the design process from
the start of the project through final results.
The importance of branding strategies will
also be discussed.

In November, GlobalShop was officially rec-
ognized for attendance growth by the Trade
Show News Network. The show has seen
11 percent attendance growth each of the
past two years and has hosted an expand-
ing expo floor as well. According to Nielsen
Expositions, the show organizer, show atten-
dance continued to gain momentum in 2012,
with nearly 12,000 industry professionals and
more than 6,400 qualified attendees repre-
senting the world’s top brands and retailers.
