Juventus Store Area12
Shopping Center Turin, Italy
This new sportswear store in the Nike family is located near Turin’s
football stadium entrance. All details of design signify a passion for
football, where everything is reminiscent of the stadium and consumers receive a full immersion into Juventus football club history from
product stories to multimedia experiences including touch screens
and live feed from the stadium. The central path is designed to unroll
like a tape from the main entrance, leading to a tunnel that goes to the
playing field. The special wall behind the cash desk depicts the team’s
champions using an optical effect. A graphic wall features the neon-lighted logo, and walls emphasize product with custom-made team
jerseys and lockers incorporating logos. The counter desk is coated
in cement grooves that replicate the signatures of important players.
Glazed-tile-coated dressing rooms emulate football locker rooms.

Lacoste
Fifth Avenue New York City
The Lacoste flagship’s prime location on Fifth Avenue meant designers had to create an instant classic. A featured architectural element,
the floating, illuminated concrete staircase offers a 360-degree view.
The cantilevered staircase adds a modern sculptural quality to the
space with polished stainless steel, low-iron star-fire clear glass balustrades, inset concrete treads, illuminated metal pans, and leather-wrapped hand rails. Subtle brand callouts include a leather-wrapped
handrail reminiscent of tennis racket grip tape, a faux crocodile
upholstered wall treatment, and custom crocodile chandelier fixtures. Thirty LCD screens and a new sound system contribute to a
lively space. Relocating an elevator and redesigning wall units and
fixtures increased the size of the original store by an additional 1,000
square feet.
