softline specialty store up to 3,000 sf
Bringing the New England outdoors to London, the Timberland store provides a sense of discovery. The box-within-a-box concept is designed as
a freestanding wood structure framing the products on the inside while
offering a view to the “outdoors” through a series of apertures. The landscapes lining the perimeter are illuminated, creating the feeling of being
inside an architectural shell, looking out. A two-story, all-glass fascia features
the company’s iconic tree logo as monolithic art forms and creates part of
the storefront design. Customers walk beneath a canopy of seven-meter-high tree structures, also bringing the outdoors in. Oversized digital screens
at the front of the store and touchscreens throughout the store showcase
new products in outdoor lifestyle stories, lending a modern, current feel to
the retail space.
